TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite. Tagaytay City topped localities in the province of Cavite in the recently held Cavite Tourism Excellence Awards 2024 held at Hotel Casiano, Tagaytay on September 27, 2024.
Tagaytay City got the four top awards including same-day visitor arrivals (city-level), overnight tourist arrivals (city-level), overnight tourist arrivals (hotel category), overnight tourist arrivals (resort category), and the highest number of government-accredited Primary Tourism Enterprises.
Dasmariñas City and Trece Martires City (LGU City Level Category), Kawit, Silang and Tanza (LGU Municipal Level Category) also won awards for same-day visitor arrivals.
General Trias ranked second in overnight tourist arrivals (city-level) and Trece Martires City ranked third. Silang got the Top 1 in overnight tourist arrivals (municipal level category) followed by Tanza and Naic.
Yoki’s Farm in Mendez, Emy Flower Farm and Bounty Harvest Farm both in Indang won the same-day visitor arrivals (farm tourism site category); Museo de La Salle in Dasmarinas, Museo ni Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit and Museo Orlina in Tagaytay City wins Museum and Gallery category of the same-day visitor arrivals.
Escala Hotel, Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay and Taal Vista Hotel Tagaytay captured the overnight tourist arrivals (Hotel Category). 2nd and 3rd for the Resort category are Tanza Oasis Hotel and Villa Excellance in Tanza.
