Founding Vision

Belle Constantino and Tim Constantino established Lucky Stan in 2019, commencing with the introduction of the Hospital Loan as their initial product. Following two years, the combination of Belle’s considerable experience in banking and Tim’s creative methods laid the foundation for Stan Empire Lending Corporation, specializing in providing efficient and available loan options.

Growth Amid Challenges

Even during the worldwide pandemic, Stan Empire Lending Corporation (SLC) flourished, obtaining its initial significant customer and forming alliances with multinational companies. In under two years, Stan Empire has delivered services to more than 20,000 employees across the country, demonstrating the firm’s swift expansion and dedication to financial empowerment.

HISTORY

In December 2018, Belle chose to retire from her banking position in Manila and move to Guam at the urging of her husband, Ted Constantino. It wasn’t until January 2019 that her son, Tim, inquired about the specifics of her job and its operational processes. After a lengthy discussion, Tim successfully persuaded Belle to stay in Manila and start their loan business, Lucky Stan. With Ted arranging work opportunities in Guam, Belle faced a dilemma of whether to seek employment in Guam or start a business in Manila. After persistent encouragement from Tim, this dynamic duo ultimately decided to establish Lucky Stan in April 2019.

Lucky Stan was conceived in April 2019 as a result of an idea for a Hospital loan program by its current CEO, Belle Constantino, who developed the concept while working at one of the leading Philippine Commercial Banks. The idea and business case underwent rigorous and repeated evaluations by various bank committees, but was hindered by a series of organizational restructurings at that time. Despite this, she remained steadfast in her belief in the concept and continued to hope that the bank would one day recognize its business potential.

In March 2020, the Hospital Loan Program of Lucky Stan encountered significant difficulties due to the increasing number of COVID patients and the health risks faced by hospital workers. As a result, Belle Constantino made the decision to dissolve Lucky Stan and establish Stan Empire Lending Corporation (SLC) in order to offer a salary loan program to a wide range of industries beyond just healthcare.
