The Armed Forces of the Philippines marked the 124th Civil Service Anniversary with a military celebration in Camp Aguinaldo on Tuesday.
The event, led by Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, J1, Major General Rommel Roldan, included an oath-taking of new and promoted staff, a Servant-Heroes Talk on leadership, and an awards ceremony for exceptional contributions.
“The dedication and commitment of our civilian workforce are essential to the success of our organization. You are the backbone that ensures the smooth functioning of our operations, and today we celebrate your service and dedication,” he said.
The 124th Civil Service Anniversary honored the ongoing dedication and professionalism of public servants with MGen Roldan praising the civilian workforce as essential to AFP’s success.
