Land Bank of the Philippines, in support of the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Adopt-A-School Program, will facilitate the repair and rehabilitation of the facilities of 12 last-mile public schools in disaster-affected provinces. The bank allotted a P6-million fund to address the urgent need for repairs and renovations of the school buildings. Signing the memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the partnership are DepEd Secretary Juan Edgardo Angara and LandBank president and chief executive Lynette Ortiz.
