The municipalities of Narvacan and Salcedo in Ilocos Sur, Rosario in La Union, and Alcala in Pangasinan join the list of local government units nationwide implementing the Paleng-QR Ph Plus Program (PQPP). Under this program, the use of QR Ph—the national standard for quick response codes—is promoted as a safe and efficient digital payment method for public markets, local transportation, and other business establishments.
