The Philippine Navy ship BRP Juan Magluyan is undergoing critical maintenance works to boost its seaworthiness.
The Navy said that the ship’s force operation involved not only replacing and repairing various components, but also thoroughly equipping it with powerful lights to ensure peak performance.
“Such meticulous attention to detail is essential for maintaining the highest standards of safety at sea.” It said.
“The importance of this maintenance cannot be overstated,” the Navy added.
The navigational lights are a fundamental aspect of maritime safety, providing essential visibility for the vessel and helping to prevent collisions with other ships.
“This is particularly vital for military vessels, which must adhere to stringent international regulations designed to promote safe and orderly navigation,” it said.
