To ensure the smooth flow of traffic at the opening of the school year, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) inspected Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City, near the Ateneo de Manila University. The traffic monitoring was led by MMDA Acting Chairman Don Artes and MMDA General Manager Usec. Procopio Lipana and other local officials.
