Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte signed an ordinance establishing guidelines for the registration of nano-enteprises to streamline regulatory processes and facilitate easier compliance with local regulations.
“As a way of recognizing the vital role that nano-enterpreneurs play in our local communities, including sari-sari stores, carinderias and beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan QC Assistance Program, we will provide them with the necessary support to thrive,” she said.
The Quezon City Nano-Enterprises Registration Ordinance shall provide nano-enterprises with financial resources and access to vital support that would help them flourish.
A nano-enterprise is a livelihood operated by a self-employed individual or sole proprietorship with an asset size not exceeding P50,000 and gross sales or receipts not exceeding P250,000.
