Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo has scored the Philippines’ first gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics after finishing as champion in the men’s floor exercise final.
Yulo scored 15.000 consisting of 6.600 (difficulty) and 8.400 (execution) with no penalties.

He is the first male Filipino Olympic gold medalist and only the second Filipino gold medalist ever after Hidilyn Diaz’s historic campaign in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
