Former Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10 housemate Rob Blackburn, now known mononymously as Blackburn, is stepping into the spotlight with his new single, “Runaway.” The track marks his second release and is a bold dive into the realm of romance.
Composed by Blackburn himself, “Runaway” narrates the tale of a woman trapped in a loveless engagement and a man determined to rescue her, offering a chance to escape and carve out their own future together.
“This is one of my most passionate projects. I’m excited for you to hear what I call romantic emo,” Blackburn shared in a post on X.
Produced by Roque “Rox” Santos, head of StarPop, the OPM ballad showcases Blackburn’s evolving musical style.
Blackburn first gained recognition in 2021 as a fourth big placer in PBB and has since ventured into acting with roles in Pie Channel series like The Chosen One and Eat Pray Love. He released his debut single, “Biyernes ng Gabi,” under StarPop in May.
