Korean girl group 2NE1 member Dara expressed her hopes to bring their much-anticipated comeback world tour to the Philippines five years after the group decided to pursue solo activities.
Popularly known as Sandara Park, the K-pop idol took to her X account to answer one of her fans’ tweets, asking if they could include the Philippines in 2NE1’s 2025 world tour.
“[Ate], sana included Philippines sa concert nyo sa 2025,” the fan wrote. The tweet caught Sandara’s attention, and she asked, “Marami pa bang PH Blackjacks?” Blackjacks refers to 2NE1’s fanbase. “That is one of my wishes, s’yempre,” she added.
Recently, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk revealed that the four-member group is getting back together for a global tour this year as part of their 15th anniversary.
Composed of Sandara, CL, Park Bom, and Minzy, 2NE1 made their debut in 2009 and is known for hit songs “Fire,” “I Don’t Care,” and “I Am the Best.”
