Quick thinking and first aid training enabled McDonald’s NLEX Drive and Dine Manager Bryan Bondoc to save a customer experiencing a heart attack. On April 12, Bondoc performed CPR with crew member Jerico Cardiente until an ambulance arrived. The customer, now recovering at the Philippine Heart Center, was saved by their swift actions. Bondoc was recognized by McDonald’s Philippines for his bravery and dedication.
The rescue team commended Bondoc and his team for their adherence to CPR protocols, stating that the customer would have likely lost his life without their intervention. Bondoc expressed feeling motivated to continue helping others, saying, “Nakakamotivate po makatulong pa sa iba” (It motivates me to continue to help other people).
