The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Leyte Provincial Office, together with Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) and Robinsons North Tacloban, showcased young creators in the fashion show “Inexplorada” on May 21, 2024.
The one-day event gave young designers a platform to flaunt their unique pieces and gain valuable feedback from the audience.
DTI Leyte provincial director Araceli D. Larraga said the exposure is crucial for their growth and development as they prepare to enter the competitive fashion industry.
“Inexplorada 2024” was part of DTI Leyte’s four-day creative industry initiative called “Arte Leyte Fashion and Creative Shows with Exhibit: Inexplorada 2024 x Rayhak Sinirangan,” which took place from May 21 to 24, 2024.
“Rayhak Sinirangan” covered the following three days and featured various activities that celebrated and promoted the rich cultural heritage and talents of Eastern Visayas.
Larraga commended the young designers for their successful show, as she also encouraged everyone to support the local creative industry.
