Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco leads the opening of the Philippine Experience Program (PEP) in the Northern Mindanao region on May 23, 2024 in Cagayan De Oro City, Misamis Oriental. Frasco emphasized during her visit that the PEP’s goal is to reintroduce emerging destinations in the country, including areas in Northern Mindanao, to equalize tourism opportunities.
