Romualdez said he is very much pleased with the turnout of House members given the short amount of time to prepare for the service caravan in the Mindanaoan city.

“Actually, our BPSF here in Cagayan de Oro is sudden. So, it’s still good to have over 50 congressmen and congresswomen come here. This is where we see and feel the support of the lawmakers in the program of President Marcos,” he said primarily in Filipino.

“Here at BPSF, we personally see the results of our laws, including the welfare programs for our citizens. Before, we only saw it on paper, now we are witnessing how it really helps the citizens,” Romualdez added.

According to House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias Gabonada, Jr. one of the key officials spearheading the groundwork for the BPSF and related activities, the number of House members who attended the event totals 53.

In the last BPSF in Zamboanga City, an unprecedented 85 lawmakers attended to witness how government programs and financial aid projects benefit the people.
