Globe embraces AI for customer care

Globe Group said it is embracing artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionize customer experience and fuel the country’s digital transformation.

“We’re now moving into customer care using AI. A lot of it is really internal use, internal process, for things to become more efficient,” Globe president and chief executive Ernest Cu said.

Globe harnesses AI to support customers across the Philippines via providing customer service in regional dialects, ensuring that everyone feels seen and appreciated. Globe also uses AI in data management for real-time analytics and in streamlining its operations.

Echoing Cu’s sentiment, Pebbles Sy, chief technology and operations officer of Globe’s affiliate GCash emphasized GCash’s enthusiasm for AI’s potential to enhance operational efficiency and elevate customer experience.

“We’re excited about how AI will make us much more efficient and really change the experience of our customers,” she said.
