Fast-food brand Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has whipped up a limited-edition perfume with smoky wood and charcoal notes resulting in the essence of a “classic BBQ experience.”
The scent is known as No 11 Eau de BBQ, in reference to KFC’s famous secret “11 herbs and spices.”
“We’ve all been there – that unmistakable aroma of a BBQ drifting through the air, tantalising our senses and leaving us craving the taste of smoky goodness. But what if you could capture that irresistible scent in a bottle?” KFC posted on its website.
Packaged in a 100-mL bottle, No 11 Eau De BBQ is available for £11 (roughly P800). All of its proceeds will go to The KFC Foundation.
The American restaurant chain’s perfume, however, is only sold in the United Kingdom.
Moreover, its first drop is already sold out, with KFC telling customers to tune in on May 7 “for a second spritz.”
Similar KFC initiatives in the past include Eau D’uardo, a perfume sold in Spain, as well as the 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog sold through Walmart.
