Imagine being a 2-year-old and your friend is none other than the Queen B herself. Well, that’s what exactly happened to Tyler, the boy behind a viral video where he persistently asked his mom, Bea Fabregas, about Beyoncé.
In the video posted by Bea, Tyler was seen inquiring about the singer’s whereabouts and even expresses a desire to visit her. Bea then explained that the pop icon might be in her own house and she is not “Mama’s friend”. But that didn’t stop Tyler, as he kept on insisting that Beyoncé is his friend.
“She’s our friend, Beyoncé is my friend,” Tyler told her mom.
The cute interaction between Bea and her son immediately gained millions of views and went viral on TikTok and Instagram, that it even reached Queen B’s team.
Almost a week after, it seemed that Tyler might be right on what he stood by that Beyoncé is her friend as the pop singer expressed her desire to send “her friend” some gifts.
In an Instagram post, Bea shared a screenshot of her conversation with the singer’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure.
“I am writing to you about the cutest video you posted with the little boy wanting to visit Beyoncé. Are you his family? She would love to send something to him,” said Yvette.
In the same post, Bea shared that “[Beyoncé] and Tyler are now actually, officially friends”, attached with photos of Tyler together with a green stuffed toy and a bouquet of blue roses.
“Through the power of Queen B’s internet (millions of views and likes it’s crazy!) she saw the video and sent over some of her favorite blue flowers, a new animal best friend for Tyler and the sweetest message that our family will now always treasure,” wrote the social media personality.
Moreover, Bea said that Beyoncé also gave a note addressing it to “my friend Tyler” and included the message, “I see your halo, Tyler”, which is a reference from her song “Halo”.
At the latter part of the post, Bea expressed her gratitude to those who had shared, commented, and like the video, making the video to reach Beyoncé.
“Tyler maybe too young to remember all this, but I’ll always remind him to dream big and shoot for the stars!!” stated Bea.
