A farmer’s group in Butuan City proves that onion production in the region is doable. The Department of Agriculture-Caraga held a ceremonial harvest at the onion trial of the Diversified Agribusiness Farmers’ Cooperative (DAFACO) in Bit-os, Butuan City. For a 36 square-meter area planted by DAFACO, the group harvested 94.14 kilograms of onions.
