South Korean actor Song Joong-ki made his television comeback with a delightful cameo appearance in the hit K-drama “Queen of Tears”.
Joong-ki reprised his iconic role as Vincenzo Cassano from the 2021 series “Vincenzo” in episode eight of the ongoing rom-com.
Starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, Song Joong-ki appeared as the formidable divorce lawyer representing Ji-won’s character, Hong Hae-in.
The unexpected crossover graced viewers with Joong-ki’s scene lasting over three minutes, fueling speculation and theories about the connection between the two shows. The episode also included a playful nod to Vincenzo’s past, with a subtle reference to his love of “corn salad”.
The scene also marked as a reunion between Joong-ki and Ji-won, who both starred in the series “Descendants of the Sun” and “Arthdal Chronicles”.
Following his cameo appearance, Joong Ki shared, “I came in the hopes of giving strength to the drama, but instead, I think I’m the one who had more fun during filming.”
On the other hand, “Queen of Tears” production team expressed their gratitude towards the Korean actor.

“Queen of Tears” is an ongoing Korean series on Netflix that delves into the story of a marital crisis between a wealthy heiress named Hae In and the commoner who becomes a lawyer, Hyun Woo.
