Fil-Am actress Vanessa Hudgens made a stunning announcement at the Oscars 2024 red carpet while wearing a gown designed by American fashion designer Vera Wang.
In an Instagram post, the “very pregnant” Hudgens shared several photos of herself on the red carpet as she served as the pre-show host, alongside actress Julianne Hough, for the 96th Academy Awards, showing off her baby bump.
“Oscar’s 2024! One for the books,” the actress wrote in her caption.
Wang also shared a few photos of Hudgens on her Instagram account. The designer said that the actress chose to wear a black stretch Italian cupro long-sleeve turtleneck evening gown that was accented by a floor-length draped sash at the waist.
Along with the dress, Hudgens wore a matching set of diamond rings, necklace, and earrings.
Hudgens’ pregnancy news marked the upcoming arrival of her first child with her husband, baseball player Cole Tucker, whom she married in December 2023 in Mexico.
During her bachelorette party in October, there had been speculations circulating around that the actress was pregnant which she had quelled by replying to a comment.
“Not pregnant so y’all can stop,” said Hudgens.
