BDO Unibank Inc., the largest lender in the Philippines owned by the Sy family, said Friday it will discontinue its old banking app for Apple/iOS users starting March 12, 2024.
The bank said in an advisory Apple/iOS users should download and switch to its new app for better access to the bank’s services.
The new app has more upgraded features compared to the old one, it said.
It will allow users view and manage all their BDO accounts in an all-new interface. The app will automatically display all the active personal accounts of the users.
BDO said it created a FAQ page to address user inquiries, which include steps to reset password, retrieve username and registration.
BDO is a comprehensive universal bank in the Philippines that offers a wide range of industry-leading products and services including corporate and consumer lending, deposit-taking and credit cards.
The bank said that as part of its commitment to customers core value, it is dedicated to providing products and services that exceed customer expectations.
