Emergency response

An emergency response team member of a mining company coordinates the release of the company’s relief goods for the people of Maco, Davao de Oro. Several mining companies responded to the recent landslide in Barangay Masara which caused significant damage and disruption in the community. Demonstrating their proactive involvement in disaster relief efforts, the companies coordinated with national government agencies and local government units to respond to the most pressing needs of victims and their families. Taganito Mining Corp., Cagdianao Mining Corp., Hinatuan Mining Corp., Carascal Nickel Corp., Kafugan Mining Inc., PhilSaga Mining Corp., Platinum Group Metals Corp. and Heritage Mining Ltd. each deployed their emergency response team to join in the search, rescue and retrieval efforts.
