The Senior Citizens party-list vowed continued service for grandparents, especially in protecting their eyesight in collaboration with the VBE Eye Center.
Among the services to be provided by the Senior Citizens party-list and VBE Eye Center are free cataract surgery including the use of the operating room complex and associated medicines in the operation under the coverage of the PhilHealth Cataract Package; free basic foldable Intra-ocular lens; free post-operative eye drops and protective goggles; two Post-operative check-ups and other ambulatory eye surgeries.
Senior Citizens party-list Rep. Rodolfo Ordanes said the project aims to “improve the quality of life of each of our beloved senior citizens.”
To obtain this service, an endorsement from the office of Ordanes and Senior Citizens party-list Membership ID will be needed.
