President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered the renaming of eight Philippine National Police (PNP) camps and PNP-owned lots to honor exemplary former police officers.

Among the notable renamings, the President designated the donated lot to the PNP in Pasacao, Camarines Sur as Camp Brigadier General Ludovico Padilla Arejola.

The lot donated to PRO-5 was renamed Camp Captain Salvador Jaucian del Rosaro, Sr., and the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office is now known as Camp Colonel Juan Querubin Miranda.

“It is fitting to give honor to former servicemen who have shown patriotism, courage, and dedication in serving the country and the provinces to which they are assigned, and distinguished themselves in their service to the nation, by way of naming and renaming PNP facilities in their honor,” President Marcos said.

Proclamation No. 429, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, underscores the importance of bestowing honor upon former police officers who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and service to the provinces and municipalities where they were stationed.

Further additions include the 50th Maneuver Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 5, renamed Camp Police Max Jim Ramirez Tria, and the transformation of Camp Efigenio C Navarro, PRO MIMROPA Headquarters into Camp Brigadier General Efigenio C Navarro.

Proclamation No. 430 which was also inked by Bersamin, renamed Police Regional Officer 12 of General Santos City to Camp General Paulino T. Santos, Police Regional Office 12, while the Biliran Police Provincial Office was renamed Camp Private Andres P. Dadizon, Police Regional Office 8.
