Houses destroyed

A man looks on the other day in front of a store selling vegetables in the village of Kfar Kila near the border with Israel. Nestled among olive trees, some houses in Kfar Kila have been completely destroyed, and the sound of nearby bombardment rumbles through the air. Just one grocery store is still open in Murtada’s area, and streets are largely deserted after many villagers fled. AFP
