Model and showbiz newbie RJ De Vera of the Philippines scored a rare back-to-back win at Man Hot Star International 2023 during the finals held at the Sansuk Grand Hall, Bangsaen Heritage Hotel, in Chonburi, Thailand on Saturday.
De Vera (aka Ronniel Absalud), a 23-year-old actor and model, and a graduate of Elementary Education, succeeded his compatriot Jovy Bequillo, who won in last year’s inaugural edition of the male pageant.
“You raise our flag proudly, Misters of Filipinas King,” said a congratulatory message from the Misters of Filipinas Organization and PEPPS Organization.
USA’s Kristzan Karlo delos Santos and South Korea’s Jo Seong-Hyeon finished as first and second runners-up, respectively. Canada’s Noah Joel Chandler and Thailand’s Oat Naranwach Piakhammueng were named third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
The winner of Man Hot Star International receives modeling, acting, and hosting opportunities in Thailand.
