The Bureau of Immigration (BI) prevented from reentering the Philippines a blacklisted American accused of sexually abusing some 20 Filipino women.
Immigration agents intercepted the 40-year-old Jared Allen Kasper at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 after he arrived from Los Angeles.
Immigration chief Norman Tansingco said Kasper was placed on the BI’s blacklist in October after the bureau received reports from three female victims that the American allegedly sexually abused and exploited them.
“The complainants alleged that there were at least 20 Filipino women who were victimized by him, but only the three of them filed a formal complaint,” Tansingco said.
According to the bureau, the women said Kasper promised to marry them if they would sleep with him. They also accused him of taking nude pictures of his victims.
Records showed that Kasper first arrived in the Philippines in July and was deported in August.
Meanwhile, a Japanese man was arrested at the NAIA for presenting to immigration officers a fake Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV).
The foreigner, identified as Yoshiaki Nakamura, was intercepted before he could board his flight to Osaka, Japan.
“After validation from the agency’s forensic document’s laboratory, it was revealed that the SRRV visa affixed on his passport was counterfeit,” the BI said.
Nakamura is held at the BI’s detention facility in Taguig City pending deportation.
