The siblings of a woman shot dead inside a passenger bus in Nueva Ecija have released a video indicating a strained relationship with her son.

“I made this video to say that my son has no right to stay in my house or take my crop,” the victim said in the video shown on Sunday over GMA News.

Police considered the victim’s son, against whom she filed robbery and carnapping charges, as a possible person of interest in the double murder case.

However, the son’s camp responded that the video was taken at the height of the mother-son feud, but the two had already forgiven each other before the shooting happened.

Meanwhile, the family of the woman’s live-in partner who was also killed refused to talk about the incident, saying they were still in mourning.

In a viral video of the incident, two male passengers told the driver of the Manila-bound bus that they would like to get off at the town of Carranglan in Nueva Ecija.

The men suddenly brought out their .45 caliber pistols and gunned down the two passengers sitting in the first row.

The victims were repeatedly shot in the head and neck.

On Friday, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board issued a show cause order to Victory Liner Inc. due to its alleged failure to protect its passengers.
