“CIA with BA” is among the finalists in the Best Talk Show category at the 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA).
Led by siblings Senator Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano, along with the award-winning host Boy Abunda, this marks the first time the public service program has been nominated for any award since its premiere in February this year.
As “CIA with BA” continues the legacy of the late Senator Rene Cayetano, Alan, Pia, and the producers from Infinite Monkeys Digital PR and Communications, Inc. are also celebrating the nomination received by “Compañero: Remembering Sen. Rene Cayetano (Christmas Special)” as Best TV Special at CMMA.
Pia stated in a recent episode, “I know that Daddy watches us, and his constant reminder, and what we always say at the end of the show, is ‘Don’t be oppressed, know the law.'”
In the same episode, Senator Alan celebrated his 53rd birthday with co-hosts, family, and the studio audience. Alan, for his part, reminded viewers of the show, saying, “With legal knowledge, we can better fight for our rights.”
Boy Abunda added, “Let’s stand on what is right because, with the law, we have no escape.”
Over the years, CMMA’s goal has been to promote a mass media filled with values in various communication fields such as television, radio, print, advertising, music, and more.
The organization, as it announced the list of nominees, said, “Every finalist has proven their dedication to delivering excellence in their respective fields.”
“CIA with BA” with Alan, Pia, and Boy airs every Sunday at 11:30 p.m. on GMA7.
