PT&T to roll out Microsoft AI tools

Publicly-listed PT&T said Thursday said it expects to roll out artificial intelligence (AI) productivity tools powered by Microsoft for enterprise clients by the first quarter of 2024.

PT&T’s partnership with Microsoft and Crayon Philippines affirms their shared commitment to delivering top-tier technology in an era where AI plays an increasingly pivotal role.

“The future of business is here. We are thrilled to introduce Microsoft 365 Copilot as an integral part of our Microsoft 365 License and Connectivity offerings, providing our customers with an avenue to explore the future of work, supported by a reliable internet solution,” he said.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI-powered productivity tool that uses large language models (LLMs) and integrates your data with the Microsoft Graph and Microsoft 365 apps and services.

It also works with popular Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and more.

PT&T held an event titled “Reinventing Productivity: The Future of Work with AI” for the industry leaders to experience the highly-anticipated ChatGPT-powered Microsoft 365 Copilot.

PT&T said the official launch date of Microsoft’s ChatGPT-powered Microsoft 365 Copilot product is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2024.

The company is serving Metro Manila and the nearby Cavite-Laguna-Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.

PT&T has a network reach of 22,800 fiber kilometers in high-growth areas, covering almost 40 percent of the Philippine population.

It holds a 25-year franchise that allows them to establish, maintain, and operate both wired and wireless telecommunications systems for domestic and international communication.
