The country’s leading content provider, ABS-CBN, won the most awards among all the nominees from the Philippines at the ContentAsia Awards 2023 held in Bangkok, Thailand.
ABS-CBN’s community singing game show Everybody, Sing!, hosted by Vice Ganda, and Star Cinema’s An Inconvenient Love, starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, won Best Asian Original Game Show and Best Asian Feature Film/Telemovie, respectively.
Meanwhile, the hit series Dirty Linen bagged the Silver Award for Best Asian Drama for a Single Market in Asia, while the Philippine adaptation of Flower of Evil clinched the Bronze Award for Best TV Format Adaptation (Scripted) in Asia.
Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal, Ruel Bayani, head of ABS-CBN International Production, Kylie Manalo-Balagtas, Marcus Joseph Vinuya, and Carlina dela Merced, ABS-CBN Entertainment Business Unit heads, represented the company at the awards night.
