“THE PHILIPPINE ASPIN “BUTTER” IN CANADA… BEAUTIFUL.
More than two year ago a little white puppy showed up on our doorstep in Cagayan de Oro City. It was dirty, weak, and really in a bad situation. My Canadian friend and roommate at the time Bret Maverick started helping the puppy get clean, and well… survive. Within a month, “butter” was a strong and beautiful Aspin.
This was the first time I had the opportunity to visit Butter at her new home on Texada Island in Canada. It was absolutely amazing seeing her healthy, happy, strong, and surrounded by love! Watching this beautiful dog grow, and the connection it has built with Bret and his family in Canada…
It has not only been inspiring, but helped me appreciate the beauty, camaraderie, and intelligence of Aspin dogs here in the Philippines.
Just a day full of love re-uniting with Butter and Bret in Canada.
