The National Privacy Commission received an unmodified opinion from the Commission on Audit, affirming the fairness of the presentation of its financial statements for calendar year 2022.

An unmodified opinion, also known as unqualified opinion, is issued when the auditor concludes that the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework.

NPC commissioner John Henry Naga said the recent achievement exemplifies the agency’s dedication in maintaining the highest standards of governance and financial management in serving the Filipino people.

“We recognize the solid commitment and dedication of our NPC workforce in the judicious use of public resources, which has been instrumental in achieving this remarkable result,” he said.

This is the second consecutive year COA issued this type of audit opinion in favor of the NPC.
