MANDALUYONG CITY. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with various small-town lottery authorized agent corporations (STL AACS) to ensure their effective and transparent operations.
PCSO General Manager Mel Robles, on Wednesday, May 17, signed the MOA with representatives of four AACS: Glowing Fortune, Grand 88, Oro Jackpot, and Piona Trading and Supply Corporation.
The MOA outlines the terms and conditions of the operation and management of the STL in their designated areas, ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
The STL is a regular PCSO game product implemented as a mass-based local lottery of the national government. It was expanded nationwide to raise more funds for the government’s priority health programs and local business opportunities, as well as to generate more jobs and stamp out illegal numbers activities.
Through the STL and its responsible gaming practices, the PCSO hopes to reiterate its objective of enhancing public welfare, driving positive change, and improving the lives of Filipinos in small towns nationwide.
