Enforcing strict rules on exercise, diet, and practice sessions reaped handsome dividends for the Formula E Resultado Team, which scored 32 podium finishes, highlighted by six championships, over back-to-back karting tournaments recently.

Led by coach Elson Carpio and team principal Theo Zaragoza, backed by major sponsor Malayan Insurance, with the help of Team Captain and Senior Expert racer Danzel Waytan and his Co-Captain and Senior Clubman racer Von Viray, the team’s hard work paid off, as seen in the first ROK GP and ROTAX MAX challenges of 2023.

The team’s first-ever ROK GP CUP held in Carmona Racing Circuit on March 25 – 26, 2023 resulted in a massive haul of 17 podiums and four titles. Podium finishers were:

Senior Expert and Senior Overall: Danzel Waytan, 2nd runner-up (rounds 1 and 2); Senior Clubman: Von Viray, champion (rd. 1); Mikel Fuentes, 1st runner-up (rd. 1) and champion (rd. 2); Junior: Ryan Sy, champion (rds. 1 & 2); Luis Segundo, 1st runner-up (rds. 1 & 2), Akhina Santos, 2nd runner-up (rd. 1) and 4th runner-up (rd. 2); Minirok Expert: Andretti Santos, 1st runner-up; Minirok Novice & Beginner: Lucio Reyes, 2nd runner-up; Martin Zaragoza, 3rd runner-up.

The Formula E Resultado Team’s early success spilled over to its next tournament, the ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE held at BRC Palawan International Circuit on April 29 – 30, 2023. Karters again proved their strength and capabilities, despite having to learn a new track in a short amount of time, while battling changing weather conditions. Podium finishers were:
