Ireland’s support

The Embassy of Ireland formalizes its continued support of Go Negosyo’s ‘Uplifting the IP Women of Davao’ program which is designed to build the entrepreneurship skills of the women of Matigsalug tribe by harnessing their skills in basketry and beadwork through mentorship and training. Attending the signing ceremony on March 14, 2023 are (from left) Ambassador of Ireland to the Philippines William Carlos, Ireland’s Minister of State for the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research Innovation and Science Niall Collins, Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion and Go Negosyo senior adviser Merly Cruz. The signing formalizes Ireland’s support of the program throughout the year and adds to the ongoing grant from the Embassy of New Zealand which started the program.
