Trade Undersecretary for consumer protection group Ruth Castelo seals uncertified tires for automotive vehicles from a company in Quezon City. The Department of Trade and Industry’s Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau capped uncertified tires worth P1.29 million and issued notices of violation to non-compliant firms during the enforcement operation on Jan. 6. Castelo and FTEB assistant director Joseph Manuel Pamittan led the DTI enforcement teams in inspecting 17 retail firms along Banawe Ave.
