Television host Mariel Rodriquez-Padilla and actress Ciara Sotto have recently signed with ALLTV, the TV station of Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) which is under Prime Assets Ventures, Inc. led by Manuel Paolo Villar.
AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino said Mariel will make ALLTV viewing more exciting as she takes her role as TV host and actress to a new level.
“Mariel will surely add more fun and entertainment that every viewer, especially moms, can relate to. We are looking forward to working with Mariel,” Toelentino said when they welcomed Mariel during the contract signing at Mella Hotel on September 8.
Also present during the contract signing were Mariel’s talent manager and talk show host, Boy Abunda, AMBS CFO Maryknoll Zamora, and AMBS general counsel Atty. TJ Mendoza.
“I am so excited about the many possibilities. Like what Ms. Beth said, ‘Let’s make a beautiful show. Let us make our viewers happy’,” Mariel said, quoting Tolentino. “All I want to do is to make people happy.”
Boy Abunda, who discovered Mariel before she became a TV personality, is excited about the “infinite possibilities” with Mariel now being part of ALLTV.
Mariel started her career at the age of 15 as a commercial model. She is married to actor-turned-politician, Sen. Robinhood Padilla. They have two daughters, Maria Isabella and Maria Gabriella.
Meanwhile, during Ciara Sotto’s, Tolentino said that they are focused on bringing exciting entertainment shows to their viewers, and “I am sure Ciara can help us with that aspect.”
“We want ALLTV to cater to all, and make everyone feel that they are part of our growing family. We are working on a variety of programs that appeal to all, especially the masses,” Tolentino said.
Ciara said she is happy to join the TV network. “I am honored to be considered as one of your talents, and I am very, very excited to work with all of you. God bless you and I promise I’d do my best, and I am very, very easy to work with,” said Ciara.
Ciara is the current President and founder of Philippine Pole and Aerial Sports Association (PPASA). She also founded the women’s community group, PRINSESA.
Ciara and Mariel join popular TV host, comedian, and businessman Willie Revillame, showbiz couple Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano, and broadcaster Anthony Taberna as members of ALLTV family.
To boost its programming, ALLTV also signed a content license agreement with CNN Philippines, the most trusted news source in the country, for the airing of its flagship new program, News Night.
