JECI targets 800-MW generation capacity

Juxtapose Ergo Consultus Inc., the management company of Palm Concepcion Power Corp. and Peakpower Energy Inc., targets to reach 800 megawatts of power generation capacity by 2030.

“As we forge ahead to a brighter and greener future, we seek to provide more sustainable solutions by setting the future direction of the company with focus areas on renewable energy technologies, off-grid, and Small Power Utilities Group power supplies,” said Nicandro Fucoy, president of PCPC and PEI.

Listed A Brown Co. Inc. owns a 20-percent stake in PEI and 100 percent of Palm Thermal Consolidated Holdings Corp. which has 20-percent equity interest in Palm Concepcion Power.

PCPC runs circulating fluidized bed combustion coal-fired power plant based in Iloilo, while PEI operates three diesel-fired power plants in Mindanao.

JECI’s power plants, with a combined 190-MW capacity provide competitive and reliable power to the areas they serve. Both are running at full capacity with an all Filipino team.
