Leading online parenting shopping hub Edamama PH staged the biggest onsite and online event recently gathered top kids brands, parenting influencers, and other exciting events and activities from August 26 to 28 at the SMX Convention Center Mall of Asia.
Guests of the physical event were able to shop, explore, and have fun with the expo’s exciting mix of activities ranging from brand discounts to talks with parenting experts.
The Family Expo gathered over a hundred of the biggest mom and kids brands and offered up to 70 percent off on exciting deals and discounts.
Some of the names participated in were Pampers, Johnson’s, Cetaphil, Pigeon, Chicco, Bean, and Tiny Buds. Moreover, expert-led talks were also held during the three-day event, covering topics like “How to start with Play-based Learning at Home,” “Your Guide to Gentle Parenting,” and “Level Up Your Homemaking Habits.” Mommy personalities and top influencers like Mommy Ciara of Mommy Diaries, Julie Ann Septimo, and Connh Cruz of The Modern Nanay were also invited as guests.
The Family Expo also prepared lots of activities for kids like watercolor classes, bouncy castles, arts and crafts areas, and reading nooks so mom and dad could explore and enjoy the expo to their hearts’ content. A mascot parade featuring popular characters opened the event on August 26.
Those who preferred staying at home were still able to watch the stream of the event and enjoy the same exciting discounts for a more hassle-free shopping experience on the hud’s website. There were family raffle draws that excited guests for a minimum shopping purchase amount, gift bag giveaways, and donation drives.
The Family Expo was in sync with edamama’s mission to bring everyday joy to parenting by simplifying their decision-making. The brand has always believed that raising a family is no easy feat so it aims to make life easier for mothers (and fathers) by curating the best parenting products and services chosen by fellow parents, too.
“Today’s shoppers have very distinct expectations and interests for things. The challenge with regular shopping in malls is that they offer a wide mix of choices that are rarely remarkable or spark joy now,” says Head of Brand & Community of Edamama PH Karla Suguitan.
“We’ve always wanted to change that by presenting parents a platform where they already have easy access to the best products and services that they need.”
“The Family Expo is also our way of giving families a special bonding experience that’s different from their mundane mall visits. Since restrictions are easing up, we wanted to throw the biggest convention that all family members can enjoy. Of course, we also understand that some prefer to stay at home, so we’re offering the same access on our website. It’s the perfect place to be for those looking for ways to rewrite or simply refresh their bond as a family,” she closes.
