FVR passes away at 94

Former President Fidel Ramos, 94, passed away on Sunday, state broadcaster PTV-4 confirmed.

Sen. Bong Revilla, co-chairperson of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats, said Ramos’ legacy to the country cannot be underestimated.

Ramos founded Lakas–CMD together with Raul Manglapus.

“Through his leadership, the Philippines emerged from the crises that enveloped every Filipino at that time,” Revilla said.
