Remembering Mabini

A homeless person with a disability sits before the statue of Apolinario Mabini along Quirino Avenue in Malate, Manila on Friday. The country will celebrate the 158th birth anniversary of Mabini, a polio victim who was regarded as the “Brains of the Revolution” against Spain, today. The national hero was born on July 23, 1864 in Barrio Talaga, Tanauan, Batangas.
