Motorists can’t help but notice this huge mural of Apolinario Mabini set up at the Nagtahan Bridge connecting Sta. Mesa and Paco districts in Manila. Although handicapped, Mabini became a revolutionary leader, educator, lawyer, and statesman who first served as a legal and constitutional adviser to the revolutionary government, then as the first Prime Minister of the Philippines upon the establishment of the First Philippine Republic.
