In preparation for the upcoming celebration of the National Flag Day on May 28, a worker adds finishing touches to the Philippine tricolor at a store in Manila on Monday. National Flag Day is celebrated to commemorate the day when the first Philippine flag was used during the victory in the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite in 1898.
