More celebrities join Robredo bandwagon

More local stars have expressed full support for the candidacy of presidential bet and Vice President Leni Robredo, the latest coming from veteran actresses Carmi Martin, Angel Aquino, and Marjorie Barretto.  

In a video posted on Facebook, Martin said she will vote for Robredo in the May 2022 elections for an honest government that will iron out all the country’s problems.

“Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo para sa gobyernong tapat at siguradong maayos natin ang lahat,” she said. 

“Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo dahil sa gobyernong tapat, maisusulong ang tunay na pagbabago para sa kapakanan, kaunlaran at kasaganahan ng lahat,” Aquino said. 

Barretto, for her part, said Filipinos can have peace of mind that they will overcome any crisis under an honest government led by Robredo. 

Carmi Martin believes that voting for Robredo “will iron out all the country’s problems.”

“Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo dahil sa Gobyernong Tapat, panatag tayo na malalagpasan natin ang anumang crisis. Makakaahon tayo,” she said. 

Actor/host Robi Domingo believes that the development of the Filipino youth will happen under Robredo.

“Iboboto ko si Leni Robredo dahil sa Gobyernong Tapat, ang Kabataang Pinoy ay angat,” he said.

Earlier, singers Ogie Alcasid and Gary Valenciano, and actress Iza Calzado further solidified their support for Robredo, saying the country needs a leader like her to solve various problems such as hunger, unemployment and the pandemic. 

Other celebrities, including John Lapus, Jugs Jugueta, Pinky Amador, Yayo Aguila, Jolina Magdangal, Saab Magalona, Jaime Fabregas, Pia Magalona, Bituin Escalante, K Brosas, Gab Valenciano, Rita Avila, Nikki Valdez, Arlene Muhlach, Macoy Averilla, Cherry Pie Picache, Jim Paredes, Noel Cabangon, Ogie Diaz, Ana Roces, Susan Africa, Mitch Valdes, and Rica Peralejo also aired their full support for Robredo.
