This year’s theme, “Better Live, Better Future,” reflects the company’s commitment to empower millions of people to explore an infinite number of possibilities through the BIGO livestreaming platform.
Every year through the Bigo Awards Gala, BIGO honors broadcasters who have captivated their livestreaming audience with creativity as well as those who have transformed the community by making the best use of livestreaming in the past year.
As a leader in the industry, BIGO continuously invests in innovative technologies such as computer vision, VR, and AR. Dino, BIGO Live’s mascot, will make a 3D virtual appearance and host this exclusive one-night extravaganza while giving audiences a rare glimpse into the Metaverse.
First BIGO Live PH Annual Awards Gala a success BIGO Live recently held their first BIGO Live Philippines Annual Awards Gala, much to the delight of the local BIGO community in the Philippines.
The event celebrated the crème de la crème of BIGO Live’s hosts, agencies, and partners, who strove to keep the local BIGO Live community strong. The virtual awards gala allowed BIGO Live hosts and users alike to simultaneously stream and interact with each other through a series of activities and performances.
The BIGO Awards Gala 2022 will feature BIGO icons from across the globe with Pinoy BIGO personalities. During the awards ceremony, top broadcasters and families of 2021 by popularity, both in each region and across the world, will be recognized.
Amy and Iwapoyo from Japan and Vanruby from Vietnam, who held the top spots in the 2021 ranking of Top Global Broadcasters. Japanese family, BigWin, will be honored as the Top Global Family on BIGO Live.
All winners will receive a trophy and in-app rewards. They will also be featured in prominent places all over the world such as the coveted billboards at Times Square in New York and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
Approximately 100 broadcasters from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds will participate in the gala through online performances, including aerial yoga, ethnic music, opera, Tron dance, K-pop dance, and cosplay shows.
