Sta. Lucia Land recently launched its farm lot development, La Huerta in Calamba, Laguna, to tap the growing interest in communities close to nature and the concept of living sustainably.
“Through farm lot developments like La Huerta, we hope to give homebuyers that unique opportunity to try their hand on growing their own produce,” said Sta. Lucia Land Inc. President Exequiel Robles.
“Over the past year, we have seen how the pandemic encouraged many to turn to backyard or urban farming to ensure that there’s always a steady supply of fresh produce on their table.”
The 50-hectare La Huerta Farm and Residences is Sta. Lucia Land’s first venture into the idea of leisure farms and residences.
“We hope to provide families and individuals the opportunity to find the concept of farming as more than just a weekend activity but rather as a way of life and an integral part of the whole family’s quest for a healthier lifestyle,” Robles said.
