Sari-sari store owners in the Visayas area had a field day when the ARC Refreshments Corp. brought along a refreshingly exciting rewards program for its valued partner retailers as a way of thanking them for having a hand in bringing the deliciousness of the well-loved RC Cola to the masses.
Dubbed ‘Bingo ng Bayan’, ARC’s entertaining rewards campaign opened itself to store owners and RC Cola consumers in barangays, communities, palengkes, and other high traffic areas in Cebu and Iloilo by way of a bingo-themed caravan.
Sari-sari store owners were given vouchers in exchange for every purchase of a case of RC Mega 800mL, which they exchanged for bingo cards on the day of the culminating event.
As an added incentive, consumers and RC Cola patrons were encouraged to also participate by buying 2 bottles of RC Mega 800mL from partner sari-sari stores in order to get one bingo card. The more colas everyone bought, the more chances they had of winning prizes!
In Cebu, barangays in Talisay, Danao, and Cebu City, as well as the municipalities of Madridejos and Bantayan in the Bantayan Islands, had the privilege of taking part in ARC’s RC Cola Bingo ng Bayan campaign.
In Iloilo, select barangays in the municipalities of San Miguel and Oton, and Iloilo City, were treated the same.
Aside from the riveting rounds of bingo pattern games and a black-out bingo game, those present during the one-day fun day event were also treated to a very Pinoy videoke booth, other fun games, a photo booth, and a raffle draw segment.
Bingo ng Bayan truly brought smiles to the faces of ARC’s valued partner entrepreneurs and clients and consumers, with many feeling grateful for the prizes and incentives they won on the day that included food items, home appliances, and cash.
Now on its second leg, ARC’s RC Cola Bingo Ng Bayan campaign will end its Visayas round by December 2019. This leg came at the tail end of the wildly successful run in the Greater Metro Manila Areas earlier this year, with hundreds of participants greatly benefiting from the rewards program.
ARC Marketing Head James Loverio emphasized that, more than just holding occasional contests for fun, the aim of the rewards program for the company’s partner retailers and distributors is really to foster good, long-standing working relationships.
“One of the things that ARC makes sure to put effort in are the loyalty programs and reward campaigns we have for our retailers, to express our thanks for consistently carrying our line of products,” Loverio said.
“As our valued partners, we hope that these fun means of giving back will encourage them to continue buying and selling ARC products for more years to come, to further solidify our partnerships,” he added.
With such enthusiastic participation in the campaign from local micro- and small entrepreneurs, and as ARC’s way of expressing more gratitude to its patrons, the community-centric Bingo ng Bayan event will continue to be held around North Luzon, and in Mindanao in the coming year.
