Imus City, Cavite—Two 30th South East Asian Games sports venue here in Capital City are already set for the game, local officials said, Thursday, November 28, 2019

Under Water Hockey competition will be held at the state-of-the-art pool at Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus. BMX and Skateboard rink in Tagaytay City and Downhill road in Maragondon town will be the host for events of the 30TH SEA Games. Dennis Abrina

Imus, the progressive 3rd district of Cavite, upland City of Tagaytay and Mountainous town of Maragondon are the host of six sports events of 30th South East Asian (SEA) Games which unfurl on Saturday, November 30 and ends on December 11, 2019. 

Vermosa Sports Hub in Daang Hari Road in Barangay Pasong Buaya is the venue of Under Water Hockey event which 4-Gold medals at stake in 4-day event at the Olympic-size pool on Dec. 2-5, 2019, while Imus Track Oval and Football Field in Barangay Malagasang 1A will host the Indonesia verus Laos game on Dec. 5, 2019. 

According to Police Colonel Junar Alamo Jr, Police Chief of Imus PNP, 54 police personnel will be deployed in the vicinity of Vermosa led by Police Major Allan Reyes, venue commander to ensure safety and security of sports officials, athletes, and guests. 

“The area starting at traffic light will be close to traffic, along Daang Hari, there will be posting traffic signages, rerouting of vehicles to isolate the Vermosa area.” PMajor Allan Reyes said in an interview.

“For the Men’s Team, we have high hopes for our forward Topz Policarpo. For the Women’s Team, it’s our forward Nadj Buenafe. We hope that both will score a lot of goals for Team Philippines. “ Dennis Valdes, president of the Philippine Underwater Hockey Federation.

In Tagaytay City, Road race, BMX, Mountain Bikes and skateboard events will be played at Tagaytay Oval for the platform competition to be held at newly-constructed Skateboard and BMX rink, which starts on December 1. 

Ronald Oranza and Jan Paul Morales of the Philippine Navy-Standard Insurance cycling squad are our top bets for Gold medal finish that will cover Tagaytay City to the municipalities of Nasugbu, Tuy, Lemery, Agoncillo, Balayan, Lian, Talisay, Calaca and Laurel Batangas.

Danny Caluag will lead the BMX team for PH and 22 years old Arriana Dormitorio will banner the PH Mountain Bike Team.

Thirteen Gold medals at stake in Cycling event, four in road events for men, nine more cycling races in BMX (3), mountain bike (2) and four events in the women’s division where Filipino riders can win gold medals.  

Eight Golds at stake in Skateboarding, 4 Golds in men’s division and another 4 Golds in Women’s Division at Street, Park and Game of Skate led by ASIAN Games Gold medalist Margielyn Didal. 

While Downhill event of Skateboard will held along Maragondon-Nasugbu Road via Kaybiang Tunnel in Maragondon Town. PH Downhill bet and Wolrd No. 3 rankJaime de Lange will represent our country on biennial meet.

Park skate master Kiko Franciaco and Christian Mean are among the 12 strong Skateboard National Squads competing. 

One Way Scheme along the area will be implement along Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road from November 23 to December 12, 2019 on 24 hr basis. According to the post of Tagaytay City Police Office facebook account.

Maragondon PNP has 180 combine personnel from PNP, AFP and Civil Security to manned the area for the Downhill event led by Police Major Jay Caparas, Area Commander. According to Maragondon Police Chief Redentor Talay. 

There will be Stop and Go during the tournament proper specially in the tournament site. Major Caparas said in a phone interview.
